Glocknerklänge

The rustic Glocknerklänge cabin is idyllically located in the middle of untouched nature at 1,840 m above sea level near the Glockner village of Kals. The impressive view of the mighty 3,000-meter peaks lets you forget everyday life and enjoy your vacation in the sunny cabin to the fullest. In the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park lies the village of Kals, just 3 km away, at the foot of the Großglockner. In addition to shopping facilities, you will also find the Gasthaus Lesacherhof or the Restaurant Gamsalm in Kals. The new Großglockner Resort Kals/Matrei is considered one of the most beautiful areas in the Alps. The mysterious Großglockner with its impressive hight of 3,798 m above sea level is the highest mountain in Austria.
The cabin can be reached in summer by car via a 5 km long forest road (good condition). Parking spaces are located directly in front of the cabin. Cool, refreshing drinking water is available in a fountain in front of the cabin. A pet is also welcome in the Glocknerklänge.
As a guest of the Glocknerklänge you also have the opportunity to stop by and treat yourself to the restaurant next door. Some food can also be purchased at the snack station.

The Glocknerklänge cabin is located in the middle of an extensive hiking area with numerous mountains in the Glockner, Schober and Granitzspitz group with unique fauna and flora.
Kals’ local mountain – the Großglockner – is inextricably linked to Kals. Every enthusiastic alpinist wants to stand under the famous Glockner Cross once in his life.

The cabin is located at the breathtaking landscape of snow-capped mountains and offers numerous opportunities for outdoor adventure and recreation. Those who enjoy going off-ski track can explore the tranquil beauty of the snow-covered landscape on foot or on a snowshoe hike. Ski tourers are also in the right place here.
If you ever feel like skiing, there is an option of transfer by cabin owner in a covered snowmobile to the nearest ski bus stop, from where you can get to the next ski area - the Großglocknerresort Kals/Matrei. Transfer will not be offered every day, so please discuss it with a cabin owner upon arrival.
