Alpine-Lodges Matthias

The Alpine-Lodge Matthias was originally used as a granary and dates back to 1947. Granaries are among the traditional buildings in Austria and were previously used to store grain. Today the granary has been reconstructed and restored in every detail and comfortable Alpine-Lodge Matthias.
The traditional holiday lodge was built on the Gerlitzen Alpe. A sunny spot at an altitude of 1,670 meters was chosen as the location, which guarantees guests a fantastic view and the best relaxation.
The lodge is reached via an asphalt road with a short stretch of gravel road and is accessible by car all year round. Parking is available in front of the cabin.
The Alpine-Lodge Matthias can also be booked as a double cabin with the neighboring Alpine-Lodge Lisa. This means that 12 people can be accommodated. Please contact our booking center for more information.

In winter, guests can reach the ski slopes in about ten minutes. Whether families with children, beginners, advanced skiers or professionals, everyone gets their money's worth on the Gerlitzen summit plateau.
