Hochlandhäusl

The house Hochlandhäusl has been completely renovated and furnished with wood in the year 2001. The house is connected directly to the Café-Restaurant "Hochland". On request, you can have your dinner there.

Since Christmas in 2005 the new 8-persons cable car Ki west is connected directly with the Westendorfer skiing area, which can be reached from the Hochlandhäusl within at few minutes. The most spectacular 3-rope cableway of the world which connects the skiing area of Pengelstein-Hahnenkamm with the skiing area of Jochberg- Pass Thurn has been operating since Winter 2004/2005. The basic station can be reached from the Hochlandhäusl within only 3 minutes by car or ski shuttle  and you are in approx. 7 min in the middle of skiing area - the departure to Aschau is possible on ski. From the skiing area Pengelstein (part of the Kitzbühler ski circus) the departure is possible to the hut per ski. A cross-country trail passes the house. The region offers 220 km of traced cross-country trails. Starting point for ski tours with very different degrees of difficulty in the Spertental.

Ideal starting point for hiking tours and excursions in the resort of "Spertental". Directly in front of the house, you will find a well-marked biking route. In Aschau-Zwiesel, there is a "Kneipp" resort with children's area. In Kirchberg (9 km), there is a swimming lake with slides and jumps. In the surroundings golf courts, e.g. Kitzbühel 15 km, Ellmau 20 km, Kössen or Zell am See.
