Almhütte Hebalm

The Almhütte Hebalm is surrounded by lush meadows and forests on the border between Carinthia and Styria. The cozy and rustic Hebalm Alpine cabin is located directly at the entrance to the Alpine routes with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains! Hikes are possible directly from the cabin not only in summer but also in winter where you have the opportunity to hike through the snowy landscape on snowshoes. It is seven kilometers from the Almhütte Hebalm to the town of Preitenegg. In Preitenegg you will find smaller shops and shopping opportunities. The cabin can be reached by car all year round. Pets are welcome.

The Almhütte Hebalm is also worth a trip in summer. The Hebalmsee is only 0.5km from the cabin and offers a natural paradise for the whole family.
The well-kept shore sections invite you to relax and sunbathe. The lake circuit on the Hebalm impresses with its diverse landscape and is suitable for short afternoon trips for families with children and as an ideal running route.
A highlight is the Forest Cathedral, a place of silence and relaxation.
