Waldbienenhütte

Like in a fairy tale, the Waldbienenhütte is nestled on the edge of the forest. The former granary from the 17th century lies in the middle of untouched nature. The cabin located at 1250 m above sea level in the sunniest region of Austria. It offers space for 4 people and is equipped with its own barrel sauna in the garden. Near the cabin is the Sneditz organic farm, where you can purchase regional delicacies. The organic farm with its chickens, Angus cattle, llama alpaca, dwarf goats, riding and breeding horses as well as a few sheeps, dogs and cats offers a special kind of experience for children and those who remain children.

In summer, you can start small or large hiking trips in the surrounding forests directly from cabin. Alternatively, you can choose from the hiking areas of Saualpe and Koralpe. The 230 kilometer long “South Alpe Panorama Trail” is a hiking experience. Of course, it is also possible to explore the region by mountain bike.

If that's not enough excitement for you, you can reach several ski areas in just a few minutes by car. The surrounding ski areas are definitely worth a visit, especially for families with children.

You can choose from several ski areas such as:

• Koralpe ski area (approx. 40 km)
• Petzen ski area (approx. 36 km)
• Klippitztörl ski area (approx. 65 km)
