Schönberghütte am Feuerkogel

The car-free cabin village of Feuerkogel is located on a high plateau above Lake Traunsee - at an altitude of 1,600 meters. One of the cabins is the Schönberghütte on the Feuerkogel. The car-free area makes the Hüttendorf Feuerkogel ideal for a family holiday with children. The ski area is also characterized by its family-friendliness and has a lot to offer. A ski kindergarten is located directly in the village.
From the high plateau, guests have a breathtaking view of Lake Traunsee and from Gmunden to Linz. You can get to the Hüttendorf with the Feuerkogel cable car (charges apply). The car is parked in the cable car parking lot. Five managed alpine cabins can be reached in just a few minutes. The landlords provide the guests of the Hüttendorf Feuerkogel with local and regional delicacies. There are plenty of shopping opportunities in the town of Ebensee. Ebensee is reached via the Feuerkogel cable car. Pets are welcome in the Hüttendorf Feuerkogel.

At the Schönberghütte, daily arrival with a stay of 3 nights or more is possible all year round, except for Christmas, New Year's Eve, Carnival and the hight skiing season! Max. two dogs per cabin are welcome.

• Hang gliding and paragliding: The beautiful Salzkammergut offers fantastic views from the mountains and valleys, and everything becomes even more spectacular from above! The Feuerkogel is the ideal starting point for hang gliders and paragliders!
