Puklhube

The “Puklhube” is in a wonderful secluded location at an altitude of 1260 meters and is harmoniously embedded in nature. The hut in a sunny location is surrounded by lush meadows and forests and offers a fantastic view of the Klippitztörl. The Puklhube is a holiday destination for those looking for rest and relaxation. The equipment is kept simple and functional. The hut has a small kitchen with a wood-burning stove and a sink without running water. You will find fresh spring water in a wash fountain in front of the hut. A staircase leads to the sleeping gallery. The hut is without electricity. Few steps from the hut you will find the “Plumsklo" (outhouse).
The nearest town Bad St. Leonhard is approx. 7 km away. Here you will find various shops as well as cafes and restaurants. The Puklhube can only be reached with an off-road vehicle via a private forest road! On request, the landlord will be happy to organize a transfer to the hut for you. Pets are very welcome at the Puklhube.

The “Puklhube” is the ideal starting point for hikes in the Lavant Valley. The hut is located in the middle of the hiking paradise of the Görlitzer and Leonhardi Alm. The well-developed hiking network offers routes for every ability. On the way, managed alpine pastures invite you to stop for a break. The Klippitztörl mountain, 25 km away, offers summer vacationers a varied activity and relaxation program. The decision whether it is just a simple walk or an extended day tour is up to the guests.
