Jagdhütte Hohe Tauern

The chalet Hohe Tauern is built in the middle of the High Tauern National Park. Two floors offer enough space for six guests. The next village is Rauris and eight kilometer away from the chalet. Rauris is small village with round about 3.000 inhabitants and some cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. The next bigger city is Zell am See and 45 minutes by car away.
The chalet Hohe Tauern is reachable the whole year by car. Parking spaces are in front of the chalet. Pets are welcome.

The next station at the bottom of the ski lift from the ski resort Raurisertal is only five minutes away from the chalet Hohe Tauern. The ski resort is up to 2.200 meter high and offers 32 pists kilometer with 10 cable cars and drag lifts. Ski-school, ski-kindergarten and curling are also available.
Other reachable ski resorts are Kaprun/Kitzsteinhorn, Zell am See und Gastein are only 30 minutes by car away. The next ski bus stop is next to the chalet Hohe Tauern.
Other winter activities: paragliding, sleigh rides, tobogganing and winter hiking.

In summer is the chalet Hohe Tauern starting point for extended hiking tours. Destination can be the countless alpine pastures in the Rauriser valley. Also mountainbiker can enjoy their holidays in the chalet Hohe Tauern. The landscape offers extensive opportunities for mountain bikers. Three bathing lakes are fast reachable.
