The Rieserferner Ahrn Nature Park located nearby the cabin on the opposite side of the valley. The nature park is characterized by its unique abundance of water in the form of waterfalls, mountain streams, lakes and glaciers. The next town of Luttach with restaurants, cafes and shops is four kilometers away from the cabin. Guests can enjoy culinary delights at the Berggasthof Grosstahlhof, 500 meters away from the cabin. The Jagerhütte can be reached by car all year round. There are enough parking spaces at the Lercherhof farm. The Lercherhof farm is approx. 50 m away from the cabin. The selection of winter sports options around the Jägerhütte is very diverse. The snow-sure Speikboden ski area with 20 kilometers of slopes is only five km away from the cabin. The Kronplatz ski area, the largest ski area in South Tyrol with 115 kilometers of slopes, is only 22 km away from the cabin.
