Hüttenzauber Lachtal

The cozy and modern equipped hut Hüttenzauber Lachtal is located in a quiet and sunny location at an altitude of 1700 meters in the middle of the beautiful family ski area Lachtal in Styria. Enjoy a wonderful view of the valley from the terrace with the sun all day. You can ski right from the hut to the lift. The equipment includes 2 garage parking spaces, 1 sauna and a ski storage room. The property has a large meadow where you can build snowmen in winter and use the meadow as a barbecue area in summer. If you don't want to cook yourself, the “Grossa Alm” with delicious regional dishes is only a 5-minute walk away. The nearest larger town Oberzeiring is 15 km away and offers shopping opportunities.
The hut can be reached by car all year round. Pets (max. 1 dog) are welcome in the hut.

The Lachtal is a wonderful family ski area and is one of the most snow-reliable and most popular ski areas in Styria. The Ski resort is located at an altitude of 1.600 – 2.222 meter and has a total of 26 kilometers of slopes and is ideal for families and beginners. Child-friendliness is very important here. With a magic carpet to float up and a rope lift for beginners. Lachtal is also ideal for fans of deep snow skiing, touring, snowshoeing and natural tobogganing. Cross-country skiers will also find a small trail on a valley floor slightly above the village.

The Lachtal inspires in summer with its pleasant altitude and routes for every type of hiking. The valley station as well as the mountain station of the 6-seater chairlift (in operation in July and August) are ideal starting points for wonderful hikes, either comfortably from hut to hut or along the mountain ridge with a wonderful mountain panorama. Mountainbiking is also very popular.
There is a small pond just 25 meters above the hut, where you can also swim. The hut is the ideal starting point for short hikes, mushroom pickers and picking cranberries and blueberries. Or you just enjoy the sun and the view from your beautiful terrace.
