Holzknechthütte

Welcome in the Holzknecht Chalet! The Holzknecht Chalet was in 2011 completely new built from a local carpenter. As building materials only regional products was used. The furniture are all hand made built out of spruce wood.
The next village is Groebming and 12 kilometer from the chalet away. In Groebming it has bakery and supermarkets. The next popular and bigger city is Schladming and round about 30 minutes by car away. Only 300 meter next to the Holzknecht Chalet is a mountain inn (restaurant) who offer specialities from the Styria.
The Holzknecht Chalet is the whole year reachable by car (in winter winter equipment). Parking spaces are next to the chalet.

The Holzknecht Chalet was built next to the ski pists from the ski resort Stoderzinken. The ski resort Stoderzinken offers 8 km best groomed trails with four button lifts on 1.700 up to 2.100 meter above sea level. For children it has a Kid’s snow paradise. During the parents enjoy the natural-snow-pistes, the children are in good hands. The ski resort Stoderzinken is member at the Salzburger sport world - Ski amade.

The landscape and the region around the Holzknecht Chalet offers many summer activities. Whether short walks or long hiking tour. The Holzknecht Chalet is start and finish together.
A multitude of mountain bike routes provide variety. Golfer can during a game of golf enjoy the fantastic landscape. The heated outdoor pool in Groebming and the nearby bathing lake in Aich will cool down the guests on hot days.
The terrace at the Holzwurm Chalet is the perfect place to take a sunbath and enjoy the holidays. Furnitures are available. Around the Holzknecht Chalet is enough place for children playing.
