Hochsteinhütte am Feuerkogel

The Hochsteinhuette am Feuerkogel is situated on a sunny plateau above the lake Traunsee in a little village of 13 houses, absolutely free of traffic! The optimal location for families with children. Wonderful view to the lake and the surrounding villages. The arrival is only possible by the cableway “Feuerkogelseilbahn” (extra costs, open until 02.11.2020). The luggage is being transported to the huts from the top station of the cableway. The Hochsteinhuette am Feuerkogel for twelve persons is located directly at the pistes.

The Hochsteinhuette am Feuerkogel is located directly in the ski resort Feuerkogel. Only reachable with the cableway - no cars. For skiers it has a chairlift and five ski lifts. Here beginners can enjoy well-prepared pistes. And also experienced skiers have there fun
A ski- and snowboard school and a ski rental are also available. For other activities like skiing you have the choice between Night-skiing, guided tours, snow-shoe tours and culinary evenings.

The Feuerkogel is one of the most demanded hiking areas of the Salzkammergut, with 10 km of high-routes and 40 km of marked tracks in pure air. Seize the wonderful panorama from the Dachstein to the Boehmerwald.
