The Heideggalm was once a ski and hiking hut and is available all year round for groups for single use. The hut is in a secluded location in the midst of beautiful nature and directly at the middle station of the Forstau-ski lift in the Ski Amadé region.
The group hut offers space for up to 30 people and is equipped with 7 cozy alpine bedrooms, a gastro kitchen with pizza oven, bar and dispensing system, 4 bathrooms and 9 toilets.
In summer you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Dachstein Mountains from the two beautiful sun terraces with barbecue, sun loungers, tables and benches. The beautiful reservoir lake is only 100 m behind the hut, which is used for snow production in winter. The next village Forstau is 3 km away, here you can find restaurants and grocery stores. The next larger city Radstadt is approx. 10 km away.
The Heideggalm can be reached directly by car (max. 2 cars) in spring, summer and autumn. There is additional parking app. 3 km away. In winter, the hut can only be reached by cable car. The transport of luggage and groceries is organized by the landlord and is included in the tour price. Pets are very welcome at the Heideggalm.

The Heideggalm is located directly at the middle station of the Forstau-Jägerlift in the Ski Amadé ski region. Wonderful natural snow slopes with plenty of space, a sunny high plateau and a unique panorama make the Fageralm a pleasure paradise. The Fageralm is also popular with families. The children's area in the valley is ideal for those first turns. The Reiteralm can also be reached in just a few minutes with the ski bus. The Reiteralm is one of the top ski mountains of the 4-mountain ski area and offers pure skiing enjoyment with long and wide slopes and the highest level of snow reliability and is also THE training mountain for international ski teams. Reiteralm, Hochwurzen, Planai and Hauser Kaibling - these are the ski mountains of the Schladming 4-mountain ski area. Every ski mountain has its own characteristics and shows its best side - but they all have one thing in common: 123 kilometers of slopes, 44 modern cable cars and lifts, delicacies in 56 ski huts, offers for kids and families, sporty and connoisseurs ... Pure winter fun!

Summer in the Schladming Dachstein West region means unlimited fun for the whole family. Discover this impressive area while hiking, climbing, mountain biking or skiing on the glacier! In this region you can expect over 1000 perfectly marked hiking kilometers and countless running and Nordic walking routes. Another highlight is an excursion with the panoramic glass gondola to the Dachstein. Once at the top, you continue to the famous “Skywalk” and the “Ice Palace”. Other leisure activities include canyoning, archery and paragliding. 4 golf courses are in the immediate vicinity.
