Hammer-Hütte

The „Hammer chalet“ is situated sunny and quiet on the edge of the village. The house, of the chalet-owner, is next to the “Hammer chalet”. From the “Hammer chalet” you have a beautiful view over surrounding mountains. The chalet was built in Salzburger method of construction. The building materials are only traditional. In the village-centre St. Veit you need only a few minutes by foot. In St. Veit are supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and so on. The next railway station is 2 kilometers away – in Schwarzach.

The bus station for the ski bus is only five minutes by foot away. The ski bus is free. Three times a day drives the bus. The bus brings you into the ski area St. Johann – Alpendorf. In Alpendorf is one of the modern cable cars. The Gernkogel and Sonntagskogel are over 1.800 meter high.
Snowboard, ski, Snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding...everybody finds fun. Ski-school and ski-kindergarten are also available.
The ski-area “sports world amade” is only in 30 minutes by car reachable.

In summer you will have hiking pleasure. From easy walks to extreme rock climbing - everything is possible. The beautiful view and good air is perfect for everybody. 180 kilometers bicycle paths awaits you.
For children is an adventure playground in Alpendorf. For activities is also available:
