Gamsbergstube

The Gamsbergstube is located in a quiet, secluded location at an altitude of 1,400 meters in the border area between Carinthia and Styria. The hut is comfortably furnished in a rustic style and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Only 100 m from the hut is the Hebalm Lake, a natural paradise for the whole family. Other ski areas such as Klippitztörl, Weinebene, Koralpe, Salzstiegl and Modriach are within a 30-minute drive. It is seven kilometers from the Gamsberg Hütte to the village of Preitenegg. In Preitenegg you will find smaller shops and shops. The chalet can be reached by car all year round. Pets are very welcome.

The Gamsbergstube Hebalm is worth a trip also in summer. The Hebalmsee is only 100 m from the hut and offers a natural paradise for the whole family. The well-tended bank sections invite you to relax and sunbathe. The lake tour on the Hebalm impresses with its diverse landscape and is suitable for short afternoon excursions for families with children as well as an ideal running route. A highlight is the cathedral of the forest, a place of silence and relaxation.
