Forsthaus Daringer

The Forsthaus Daringer was originally built in 1746 and is a Tyrolean veteran in the holiday resort of Mayrhofen. The rustic holiday home has been completely renovated and equipped with every conceivable comfort. Today the Forsthaus Daringer offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday in Tyrol. Coziness and comfort come first and offer you enough space and opportunities to retreat as well as a great view of the Zillertal mountains.
The Forsthaus Daringer is built on a sunny spot above Mayrhofen in the Zillertal. Only natural wood from the surrounding Tyrolean forests was used as building material.
The center of Mayrhofen can be reached in just a few minutes on foot. Mayrhofen is a lively place in Tyrol with many shops, cafés and restaurants. There is also a lot on offer in the nightlife - numerous après-ski bars and clubs assure the long night of partying. Sports and leisure activities in all range from A-Z.
The Forsthaus Daringer can be reached by car all year round. Sufficient parking facilities are available. A pet is welcome.

The distance to the skiing area is about 800 m. The Ahornbahn takes you to the peak of Ahorn, in the village Mayrhofen, via the Penkenbahn (free ski shuttle) you can reach Finkenberg, Rastkogel and Eggalm up to Tux-Vorderlanersbach. The skiing area "Zillertal 3000" offers diverse ski fun for big ones and small ones with tracks of all degrees of difficulty! In the area Gerent another water reservoir pond was built for the coming winter season to optimise the possibility for artificial snow. A highlight for Snowboarders is the Burton park Mayrhofen which counts to the best ones in whole Europe! The Ahornbahn: with room for 160 persons is the biggest pendulum cableway of Austria!!!

In summer vast sports- and leisure program. The region of Zillertal offers everything, from Mountainbiking, Rafting and Canyoning, Paragliding, mountain tours and travelling tours, to kayak journeys and Hydrospeed. In Summer mountain bikers are transported in the Penkenbahn with their bikes on 1.350 m of altitude to be able to get directly into the fantastic mountain world. Vast motorcycle tours are possible here, as well as horse riding, swimming.
