The car-free Feuerkogel village located on a high plateau above Lake Traunsee - at an altitude of 1,600 meters. One of the cabins is the Erlakogelhütte on the Feuerkogel. The car-free area makes the Feuerkogel village ideal for a family vacation with children. The ski area is also family-friendly and has a lot to offer. A ski kindergarten located directly in the village.
From the high plateau, guests can enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Traunsee and Gmunden to Linz. The village can be reached by the Feuerkogel cable car (fees apply). The car can be parked by the Feuerkogel cable parking lot. Five alpine cabins can be reached in just a few minutes. There are plenty of shopping opportunities in the town of Ebensee. Ebensee can be reached via the Feuerkogel cable car. Pets are very welcome in the Feuerkogel village.
Except for Christmas, New Year's Eve, Carnival and the "Slope Magic" season, daily arrivals are possible all year round at the Erlakogelhütte with a minimum stay of 3 nights! Max. two dogs per cabin are welcome.

The Erlakogelhuette am Feuerkogel is located directly in the ski resort Feuerkogel. Only reachable with the cableway - no cars. For skiers it has a cable car, chairlift for 6 persons and five ski lifts. Here beginners can enjoy well-prepared pistes. And also experienced skiers have there fun
A ski- and snowboard school and a ski rental are also available. For other activities like skiing you have the choice between Night-skiing, guided tours, snow-shoe tours and culinary evenings.

The Feuerkogel is one of the most demanded hiking areas of the Salzkammergut, with 10 km of high-routes and 40 km of marked tracks in pure air. Seize the wonderful panorama from the Dachstein to the Boehmerwald.
