Chalet Tannenhaus II can be booked together with Chalet Tannenhaus I (8 people) for larger groups.

Surrounded by mountains, very central and at the same time secluded from hustle. Fine wood scent, down-to-earth and natural as it is lived and loved in Austria. Natural materials such as wood set the tone throughout the chalet. The interior was planned and built by local carpenters with great attention to detail. Regionality is very important here. The center of the artists' town of Gmünd in Carinthia, where there are shops, grocery stores, cozy inns and a number of excursion destinations, is only 5 km from the chalet. The chalet can be reached by car all year round; snow chains must be carried in winter. Carport parking spaces are available at the chalet.

In snowy winters, the Stubeck offers a fantastically beautiful landscape with snow-covered meadows and forests and is transformed into a paradise for winter sport fans. Whether it's tobogganing, ski touring, snowshoe hiking or curling, there's something for everyone here.

The well-known Katschberg ski area is at an altitude of 1,650 meters to 2,220 meters and is about half an hour's drive from the chalet:

• 16 tow lifts, chair lifts and gondolas ensure smooth transport

Once at the top you have a fantastic view of the Malta Valley, the Hohe Tauern in the north, the Nockberge in the east and the Karawanken and Julian Alps in the south. Here you can experience your vacation far away from the stress of everyday life. There are 2 managed alpine huts nearby, which can be easily reached on foot (note seasonal opening times).
