The Almdorf Auszeit Fageralm is intended to provide peace and relaxation and enable our guests to have a wonderful time. For this reason, out of consideration, we do not approve of excessive parties such as bachelor parties.

On August 23rd and August 24th, 2025, a community wine festival will take place in the parking lot of the Almdorf Auszeit Fageralm. We would like to point out that this may disrupt your night's sleep, even later in the day.

Welcome to our Almdorf Auszeit Fageralm. Chalet vacation at the highest level. Sustainable, environmentally friendly and future-oriented. Under the slogan "Innovation meets tradition", 27 luxurious chalets were built on a sunny hillside next to the ski area.
Each of the 27 chalets has 147 square meters of living space on two levels. On the ground floor you will find a living room with dining area and kitchen, a large wellness bathroom, two separate toilets, the cloakroom and ski room with ski boot dryer. The cozy living area is the heart of the chalet in the Almdorf Auszeit Fageralm. This is where people meet, this is where we cook together, this is where hearty cabinevenings are spent. A comfortable corner couch offers space to make yourself comfortable. If necessary, two additional guests can sleep on the couch (sleeps 11th +12th). A flat screen TV is available for entertainment.
The modern kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, even for professional chefs. In addition to an induction hob, there is an oven, a refrigerator and freezer as well as all sorts of electrical appliances. The large dining table with corner bench by the stove offers all guests enough space. The living area leads to the furnished terrace, which offers a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains.
After an eventful day of vacation, guests can find the relaxation they need in the wellness room. The sauna also offers a great view of the Austrian mountains. 
The sauna can be used as a classic Finnish sauna or as a bio sauna. A wellness shower (rain shower) and a large corner bathtub are also available.
The bedrooms are on the upper floor. These are divided into three comfortable double rooms and a four-bed room with a bunk and a double beds. The double beds are very high-quality box spring beds, which guarantee a restful sleep. Two of the double bedrooms have access to the sunny balcony with a magnificent view. All bedrooms have a flat screen TV. On the upper floor there are also two bathrooms with a shower and washbasin as well as a separate toilet. Each chalet has a furnished terrace with a charcoal grill. The car is parked under a carport or in the chalet village parking lot. A washing machine and a tumble dryer are available at reception for an extra fee.
The furnishings and furniture such as corner benches, dining tables, wardrobes, doors, etc. in our Almdorf Auszeit Fageralm Premium Chalets are made from recycled teak wood that is over 100 years old!
In summer and winter there is a lot to discover around the Almdorf Auszeit Fageralm. Both active holidaymakers and those seeking relaxation will find a wide range of leisure activities on offer. The world ski resort of Schladming is only 10 kilometers away. The Mozart city of Salzburg is only about 50 kilometers away. In winter, the ski bus stops directly at the chalet village parking lot.

Summer in the Schladming Dachstein region means endless fun for the whole family. Discover this impressive area while hiking, climbing, mountain biking or skiing!!! Over 1,000 perfectly marked kilometers of hiking and countless running and Nordic walking routes await you in this region. Another highlight is a trip with the panoramic glass gondola to the Dachstein. Once at the top, you continue to the famous “Skywalk” and the “Ice Palace”. Other leisure options include canyoning, archery and paragliding. Four golf courses are in the nearby distance.
With the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card, your vacation pays off twice. From the end of May to mid-October you can enjoy all services free of charge or at significant discounts. We will give you the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card upon arrival (from the end of May to mid-October).

Wonderful natural snow slopes with plenty of space, a sunny high plateau and a unique panorama make the Fageralm a paradise for enjoyment. The Fageralm is also popular with families. The children's area in the valley is ideal for the first turns. With the ski bus you can reach the Reiteralm ski area in just a few minutes. The Reiteralm is one of the top ski mountains in the 4-mountain ski area and offers pure skiing enjoyment with long and wide slopes as well as maximum snow reliability and is also the training mountain for international ski teams. Reiteralm, Hochwurzen, Planai and Hauser Kaibling - these are the ski mountains of the Schladming 4-mountain ski area. Each ski mountain has its special features and shows off its best side - but they all have one thing in common: 123 kilometers of slopes, 44 modern cable cars and lifts, delicacies in 56 ski huts, offers for kids and families, sports enthusiasts and connoisseurs skiing fun & Pure winter experience!
